Hiking trip in Sipoonkorpi 9.5.2026
Ykkönen is organizing a spring hiking trip in Sipoonkorpi for its members in cooperation with Vantaan Latu ja Polku ry.
Come for a walk in the spring forest and experience the magic of the wilderness!
Time: Saturday, 9.5.2026 at 10–14
Location: Kuusijärvi, Kuusijärventie 3, Vantaa
The guided hike will start from Kuusijärvi, next to the Sipoonkorpi information board, at 10 sharp.
We will follow the orange trail markers to Bisajärvi and from there to Bisan maja. We will take a break at Bisan maja. Ykkönen will provide snacks and sausages to grill over the campfire. From Bisan maja, we will continue to the nearest hiidenkirnu (a type of ancient stone basin) if possible. We will return to Kuusijärvi via a different route at around 13.45. The round trip is approximately 8.5 km long.
Bring a water bottle and weather-appropriate clothing.
You can bring along one friend who works in the retail sector and is not yet a member of Ykkönen.
We will meet at Hakaniemi Market Square in Helsinki at 8.50 and take a local bus. Please make sure you have a valid HSL ticket (ABC). Travel to Kuusijärvi is at your own expense. You can also come directly to Kuusijärvi. Please note, however, that the journey by public transport from Helsinki or Tikkurila to Kuusijärvi takes about 1 hour.
The trip is open to the first 20 people to register and will take place if at least 10 people sign up.
Binding registrations and free cancellation by 29.4. The event is free of charge, but if you cancel your participation/fail to show up without an acceptable reason, you may be charged the actual costs of the event, approx. €10.
